I see the Irving Park member area is gaining members. But a strange thing...persons become members, but no one makes a comment about the course etc. Hmmmm.

I was wondering...when the BCMAMS plan on installing cement tee pads? Although the course is great the dirt pads need work. Especially the dirt pads in the woods.

I'm glad to see there is a group started for the Irving Park DGC. Should be a popular spot for discussion, comments, bragging rights or just finding a partner to play with.
The BCMAMS did a fine job getting Irving Park DG in the air. It is in close proximity to alot of neighborhoods in the area and is in a historical section of town. Plus it is right across the street from Kellogg Community College and the hospital (in case you get a disc in your head). I thought the designers and the MAMS did a great job laying the course out, considering the small area. A nice, tight open and woodsy course with a friendly atmosphere. My skill level is just above a beginner and it really fits my game perfectly.
As spoken in a previous comment by a neighboring discaroo... I also like the Disc King baskets. It must be the unique sound they make when a disc smashes into the chains. Anyway...if your curious about Irving Park...get out there and play. You'll be glad you did. Maybe you can break the course record.

I like the Disc King baskets. I've never played a course with that type installed.
