Comment by LB on June 24, 2009 at 12:19pm: The church that I belong to is very involved in evangelism and church planting. We raise up disciples in the home church who have a desire to preach and take the world for Jesus. This week I have been traveling to a church that is a little over an hour a way to help build a new church. When we plant a church in a city, there is no building or congregation but the Pastor has to start from the ground up and begin a work. This church in particular is 5 years old and is now about 40 members, they have recently outgrown their first building which was a little storefront building. Praise God. God has gifted our congregation with men in all the trades as well as other professions. I have been there hanging drywall and doing some patchwork. That may seem like nothing to some people but it is truly amazing how God can send someone to a place they have never been before and begin to have revival with new believers who are freshly converted sinners.

I love being involved in what God is doing. He is saving lives daily and its a privilege that he allows us to be his ambassadors on Earth.

In the home church work with about 40 kids from 5-12 yrs old on Sunday nights and I play in a band on Saturdays when we concerts to evangelize.
