Jingles is a fun game that lets disc golfers of widely varying skills play a "competitive" round together. The first rule is that you do not keep a score, you collect "jingles."
I'll let others who understand the rules a little better explain the details, but you get a jingle for a birdie and you also get one for "first metal." Hitting three trees in one throw also garners a jingle, and if you hit "first metal" on a throw here you hit a tree of a bush first, then your collect twice as many jingles.
You can lose a jingle for a bogey, and if you hit 13 jingles directly, you lose all your jingles and start over, although once you pass 13 again, you get the first 13 jingles back. A double-bogey requires you to wear a funny hat.
Sound complicated? It is. And fun.
