I got a chance to play Thomas Park and although it was a really nice course, I think it was designed for a forehand shooter, or a lefty, because a large number of the holes are right hand turns. I don't mind dogleg right, but not on 14 out of 18 holes. Except for that factor, I did like the course.

I'm looking forward to playing Thomas Park. Hope things are coming together on the Tee Pads. Should be a great venue for tournaments. I'll be there in July, 16-30, so I hope to get to play with some of the locals. Salina was my stomping grounds for many years, so I want to see how the "greatest sport on the planet" has developed in the area. See ya,

I grew up in Salina, and played Lakewood before the north course was even built. I was a member of Central Kansas Flyers in the eighties and nineties. Just wanted to join this club to see if there are any of the old golfers still around. I heard about Thomas Park, awesome!!

lake shawnee or memorial in lawrence for now. I am waiting anxiously for the new lake perry course to open. the cats at lsdiscs said its gonna be unbelievable and hard.
