Can anyone stop Gomez?

Having won his last two events and being heavily favored to win another (even by the locals at HB), one has to wonder: Who, if anybody, can stop KG? I know I am going to try, but right now, he's playing pretty hot and I think the only thing that may stop him may be turning pro, if he ever does.

Oh yeah, what happened to all the Kevin Gomez retirement talk? A couple of wins might have changed his mind...

I think that Bert Cotton/ birdiebert is coming on strong this year and has to be one of the possible challengers to knocking off Gomez's win streak. He did take Gomez's #8 Bag Tag at Long Beach and played on the lead card for advance with Gomez at Oceanside. It could happen.

I agree Bert has really stepped up his game. He already shot a 1000+ rated round this year.
I would love to see a playoff between Bert and Gomez for third place at HB. After Carl and I of course...
