Oh yea, I wouldn't think of being rude about it. I was just there today but the management team wasn't around. I'll ask them about it probably monday.

Daniel don't be shy you live there go into the office and ask them when for all of our benefit. If the polite request doesn't work mention to them about the 3 people who have contacted me about the ticks they have collected while playing there. Like i have some sort of control as to when the course gets mowed.
But above all please be nice! Those of us who play love the FREE part of the course we don't want to piss off the powers that be by making demands.
I of course will contact them also but the squeeky wheel gets the grease.

I really hope they start trimming the grass down soon. I spent way too much time searching for my discs yesterday.

Did anyone get the article about the grand opening? I don't get the ann arbor news anymore but would really like to read what they said about the course.

I don't want to see 'fairways' mowed. Out of this region, there are a lot more disc golf courses in park areas that are entirely mowed, it is just uncommon around here. Then there won't be high grass to lose discs in, get ticks, attract snakes, etc. (Saw a rattler at Rolling Hills last night!). But I do hope they do the first mow soon.

The staff told me they had been frustrated by the rain, because they wanted to have it mowed before the grand opening. Apparently, even when it feels pretty dry to us, they don't want the equipment out there cutting until it is drier.

we actually do not know for certain what the grass cutting plans are, but we were told it will be mowed all of it. not fairways they have to maintain all the grass for the township. i do not know if they plan on mowing it weekly, bi-weekly or bi-monthly.

curious to what the mowing plans are....with this great spring weather the grass is lush, thick, and green.....starting to get taller and make it a little harder to find discs.....also noticed you can really go at these pins since the discs just sit down in the tall green grass.....will there be defined fairways for rough? plans to keep the grass lower around the baskets? just wondering.....
