STRIKER (GOOOOOOAL!) 11 Replies

I liked this disc right outta the box when I got one a while back.  And now that they have made them in lower weights, I like 'em even better.  Like an eagle-teebird hybrid with more speed.  Continue

The Fuse 18 Replies

For me this disc is a perplexer.  In calm conditions it's the Fuse- does anything you ask w tons o' glide.  In the wind it's the conFuse:  But that's probably my fault (bad form etc...) Continue

Pure Genious!

Got a Zero Line Pure the other day. First off, the zero line plastic is so grippy! way more than any innova plastics. It's rigid with a bit of flex to it and is extremely flat top. Nice low profile a…Continue

Just heard last week that Lat64 is planning on putting out three more discs this year, and they are going to be producing 2 more Westside discs as well. Westside's first disc this year will be a midrange called the Warship.

Let me guess: your color shift king is flattish/not domey?

I have a merlot king on the way which is supposed to be more stable. The one I have is a color shift king. My am worlds bolt has an amzing feel, only high speed driver I can hyzer flip straight for 50 percent of its flight and then have it turn right and finish with a small fade. Very cool shot which leads my discing buddies to say what the hell was that! I can also hyzer flip it effortlessly straight easy distance. The king I have need an almost 75 degree hyzer go fly anywhere near straight

King and Bolt should be closer in stability than you describe. Don't try to "kill" the River. Concentrate on angle you want to release and good snap, then sit back and let the glide do the rest

Ok...I have replaced my bag with latitude and westside discs and all I can say is wow. The glide is addicting, and if there is a recovery group I am not sure I want to know. Still in the testing phase I have 1 each of the lineup in opto and gl and I have only started to test. I love the bolt if I have room and the sword is amazing. The king perplexes me as it is the flipiest thing I have ever thrown at that speed. I think I may have got a freak think a fuse with a rocket strapped to its ass. One last thing any secrets to throwing the river?

BOO!

Anyone home?

The opto bolt varies a bit but is vastly more stable han the gl. Some of them are firebird-esque

Yeah, it's a really light broken in champion I found with no name on it.  It's more bendy and flexy than any champion disc I've seen, and I get my best rips on 9 speed discs.  It flies like a -1/4 for me.  I have a whole new wish list, Predator, Nuke OS, King, Destoyer - stuff I never thought I'd be able to throw.
El Kabong Comment by El Kabong on August 11, 2011 at 1:52am

yep...when they beat in they can do that.  Try hyzer angle first...if that doesnt work, punt.  Max weight optos don't flip too easy.

BTW

Firebird...turnover?  You might wanna write innova again lol
