I liked this disc right outta the box when I got one a while back.  And now that they have made them in lower weights, I like 'em even better.  Like an eagle-teebird hybrid with more speed.  Continue

The Fuse 18 Replies

For me this disc is a perplexer.  In calm conditions it's the Fuse- does anything you ask w tons o' glide.  In the wind it's the conFuse:  But that's probably my fault (bad form etc...) Continue

Pure Genious!

Got a Zero Line Pure the other day. First off, the zero line plastic is so grippy! way more than any innova plastics. It's rigid with a bit of flex to it and is extremely flat top. Nice low profile a…Continue

I want to see a driver with Nuke distance, but Sidewinder stability. Oh ya, it's called the Katana. Still want one from Lat 64.

I'm looking forward to the stable mid. I think they should make two more...wasp/roc like and drone/pig like.

Ok so by Thurs I will have the entire line of Latitude disc being made right now minus the Pure. A week ago I didn't own any Latitude plastic. I feel like I found a new toy. The grip is unmatchable...there is no other plastic that feels like this. All of my disc are in the Opto line plastic. They really need 2 more things for me. A stable mid-range. Overstable like a wasp...and an Opto Line Putter. I putt with the Z Putt'r right now and love the clear durable plastic for my putters. I have tried over 20 putters and found mine but I am willing to try out another if they release it in awesome clear Opto plastic.
Halo - Boss or Force like...
Blitz - Really Overstable...really long drone?
Riot - Like a Surge or Wraith w/more distance and more stability.
Striker - Long with a strong fade (breaks in and it will go straight)
River - Wow...Glide for days...Flys really straight. Great Disc.
Vision - Dead Straight for now. Can flip it but soon it will be a great anny disc
Core - Feels like a Coyote. Holds great lines. Will turn in high speeds..
Fuse - Comet...pure and simple. Just like a comet. I love it!

All of my drivers are still taking huge sweeping skips...I am sure in a couple of weeks a couple of these might fly a little more broken in. Most are going to take a while...which is ok. I like stable plastic. Once again though the grip is outstanding. I haven't had to use my birdie bag all week long. And down in the death Valley of FL it is humid and sticky all the time. The plastic is that good I don't have to worry about it slipping. I have also gotten 4 other players to jump on the band wagon for the Latitude line of disc. GIVE US MORE!!!

Bagged a handful of lightweights today:

Halo GL 155 in Orange
River GL 162 in Pink
River GL 157 in Gold

Pink River is the domey-est LAT disc I've ever seen. Looks like the Capitol building. Was a bit windy today to really see what they could do but they flew FAR with relatively small effort. Well, the Halo takes a little more gas but it still got out there...

i wouldn't say i throw it on ALL my drives, i think it's important to have a variety of discs for a variety of shots. but i think that when it comes down to it the blitz is less overstable than it feels at first. the trick is gripping properly for that slanted rim... if you grab it right you get like 9000 gallons of spin, and that carries it further. it will always fade hard, but if you give it enough the speed alone will carry you 350-400+

I looooove the opto plastic and the colors are awesome! My only issue is that they're too clear and hard to find if you have an errant throw.
