The pain won't hold an anny long enough for a spike...but it will do an anny flex like a champ. And ftr: my GL is a 177 or 178

I did get a 167 tho...just haven't thrown it yet.

Comment by Dookville on June 17, 2011 at 3:52am: The kc is more stable than the san marino but neither are anywhere near as stable as my pain. I almost have to used it for driving purposes only. El-Kabong uses gl's in lighter weights in and around the basket and throws some great spike aannys with it. I used the san marino for those kind of shots.

Comment by Dookville on June 17, 2011 at 1:37am: I can turn my pain over, but I really have to put the corn cobs to it to make it happen. My pain is definately more stable than eith of my two Rocs. The Opto Pain is a 176g, the KC Pro Roc is 175g, and my Star San Marino is 174g.

I want to see how the dome and rim curves compare to the Buzzz and flat Roc before I get one. I recently lost my real flat Roc and am now just throwing a modified DX, not tournament legal and the Iowa Games are coming up within the month, so I need a little help deciding between the Pain or getting another Star Ontario Roc.

I have a flat 177 GL that is just very controllable and reliable and seems a bit less stable than my opto...but I have no idea how it stacks up to a ROC stability wise
