STRIKER (GOOOOOOAL!) 11 Replies

I liked this disc right outta the box when I got one a while back.  And now that they have made them in lower weights, I like 'em even better.  Like an eagle-teebird hybrid with more speed.  Continue

The Fuse 18 Replies

For me this disc is a perplexer.  In calm conditions it's the Fuse- does anything you ask w tons o' glide.  In the wind it's the conFuse:  But that's probably my fault (bad form etc...) Continue

Pure Genious!

Got a Zero Line Pure the other day. First off, the zero line plastic is so grippy! way more than any innova plastics. It's rigid with a bit of flex to it and is extremely flat top. Nice low profile a…Continue

That green gl you throw on those super high flex shots is a heavy weight, I'm even more imprresed with that shot now. Stud!

I use understables for anny shots: wedge is KING of the anny...and my new champ cobra is badass as well
Comment by El Kabong on June 17, 2011 at 1:42pm

I do?

The pain won't hold an anny long enough for a spike...but it will do an anny flex like a champ.  And ftr: my GL is a 177 or 178

I did get a 167 tho...just haven't thrown it yet.

The kc is more stable than the san marino but neither are anywhere near as stable as my pain. I almost have to used it for driving purposes only. El-Kabong uses gl's in lighter weights in and around the basket and throws some great spike aannys with it. I used the san marino for those kind of shots.

Yeah, the Opto Pain definitely looks too domey for me, that KC Pro looks perfect.

I can turn my pain over, but I really have to put the corn cobs to it to make it happen. My pain is definately more stable than eith of my two Rocs. The Opto Pain is a 176g, the KC Pro Roc is 175g, and my Star San Marino is 174g.

Do your Pains make good turnover discs right out of the box like a flat Roc?
Comment by Joshua Knutson on June 17, 2011 at 12:50am
Can you guys post pics of the profiles of your Pains? I want to see how the dome and rim curves compare to the Buzzz and flat Roc before I get one. I recently lost my real flat Roc and am now just throwing a modified DX, not tournament legal and the Iowa Games are coming up within the month, so I need a little help deciding between the Pain or getting another Star Ontario Roc.

Plus...there's about 50 different ROC molds at any given time...so even if I threw them I wouldn't know.
Comment by El Kabong on June 17, 2011 at 12:27am

I have barely thrown my opto...

I have a flat 177 GL that is just very controllable and reliable and seems a bit less stable than my opto...but I have no idea how it stacks up to a ROC stability wise
