STRIKER (GOOOOOOAL!) 11 Replies

I liked this disc right outta the box when I got one a while back.  And now that they have made them in lower weights, I like 'em even better.  Like an eagle-teebird hybrid with more speed.  Continue

The Fuse 18 Replies

For me this disc is a perplexer.  In calm conditions it's the Fuse- does anything you ask w tons o' glide.  In the wind it's the conFuse:  But that's probably my fault (bad form etc...) Continue

Pure Genious!

Got a Zero Line Pure the other day. First off, the zero line plastic is so grippy! way more than any innova plastics. It's rigid with a bit of flex to it and is extremely flat top. Nice low profile a…Continue

Just drove 2 hours to pick up a new GL Fuse. Should get my new GL Vision and River in the mail tomorrow. Can't WAIT to throw them.... Lat 64 discs are Sexy...

Rule of thumb for flows and havocs:
flatter = more understable regardless of plastic

Domey = more stable

And it held the line.  The fade was almost unrecognizable.

In field practice today, absolutely LAUNCHED my Flow way farther than any onther disc I threw. 285 ft by my phone GPS, which was actually calibrated right according to a 30ft tape measure. So that is pretty damn good for my noodle arm.

You know its kind cool, and it seems to be that GL plastic discs are understable compared to Opto plastic discs. I love my Opto Flow, but that thing operates pretty much on my full power or it doesn't do it's thang. Now if the GL Flow is understable, I can think of a half dozen different lines I'd love to throw that baby on. Got me thinkin.

El-K, it looks like I'm not done buyin plastic yet!

My GL flow has the same top profile as a star vulcan, which is how my Vision flies.
Comment by Gbudz on June 21, 2011 at 1:22pm

my flow is more understable than my river. it has a very flat top in gl plastic and that could be the reason. that could be the reason for @Dookville's havoc as wel, considering it's in opto. all my lat discs are in gl and i would probably consider them all understable compared to reviews for the same discs in opto plastic. i guess that's the way it is. i love it though, i like to hyzer flip everything so it's perfect!

hyzer flip bomber sounds amazing. i'm gonna get one of those colorshift havocs. saw it in the shop the other day and was like "what?!"

I have been throwing the Havoc in Opto for about 5 months now. It has an incredibley long hyzer line that i can hold at about any heighth. The first i had broke in and became a long hyzer flip bomber. The new one hasn't been the same, it is still a hyzer line only disc. I am patient and know it will hit that stride eventually, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. I know Havocs stability comes from its speed requirement, thought maybe the new one might truer to the numbers than the old one.

I actually got my Flow to hold it's line really well consistenly right away.  I know you seem to prefer Opto and I myself like GL, that could be the difference, but for me the Flow flies just like a faster, slightly more stable River.
