Limona Disc Golf News

There are quite a few tournaments coming up on the Florida Tour. Please see below for dates, contact information, directions and much more. Please remember to register early, it just makes it so much easier on the Tournament Director. From our area alone, I wanted to say what a great job Gary Johnson is doing this year on tour. Not only is he trying to hit all the Florida events but he has also played in Hawaii at the beginning of the year. Gary is part of the Gateway South team and is really wracking up some team points. Congrats to Gary Johnson for all he does for the sport. You are a great team member and a great person representing Disc Golfers everywhere!

May 10th we are having an afternoon fun round for JohnE McCray's Birthday.
We will have the handicap at 9:30 am like normal and then we are breaking for lunch.
Everyone bring something to cook out or bring sandwiches...whatever you want to eat. You will have to do your own cooking out though, there are grills at the course to use.
After lunch, we will come up with some kind of fun round to play.
Please shoot me an email if you think you can make it.
I want to make sure I get enough B-day cake for everyone.

As always, if you play disc golf somewhere, try to leave the park cleaner than it was when you got there.
It takes ALL of us to make sure the parks are clean and litter free!
