One nice thing about my MAC,
It reads all and any camera that can be attached to it.
No dropping in a cd every time there are hardware issues.

I was discussing the new version of Windows last night with some friends when someone pulled out this little gem, "If you want the newest version of windows... Buy a Mac 7 years ago, cuz thats how far behind it is."

Mac FTW!!! I used to be hardcore PC forever, then a few years ago...on a whim, i bought a $3500 MacBook Pro. It was when they were just moving over all their hardware to Intel. Been hooked since and I'm an IT guy who works with Windows most of the day.

If you run a good Linux build (like Ubuntu) on a PC you don't have to worry about virus problems. There are tons of great open source programs and you easily avoid the all the problems inherent in Windows and the unreasonable price of Apple. It's the best of both worlds. I can custom build a machine (PC) with very high quality parts that runs every bit as well as a Mac for half the price and with Linux everything "just works".

Understand the costs.
More than average.
After all these years in the graphics industry, it was time to step up.
Had the cash.
Waited for the pentium chip. This machine is verrrrry fast, and smooth.
It's like a Mercedes, compared to a Chevy Chevette. Literally.
Discllike Microsoft!

Go to Apple.com prices vary for what you want.
Built mine over the phone. Money was not an option.
Nice write off that year. 2007. Actually bought 2, a lower model for the girlfriend.

How much did that cost you? Mine PC cost less than 300 dollars to build and I never have viruse problems.

Aaah,
You can build your own PC is true.
Had my Mac built to my specs. They had options. Fast video, pentium etc..
It's the viruses! with a PC.
