Mac or PC?

The great question is not Innova or Discraft?... but Mac or PC?

My son's new mac will be here tomorrow!
2.4 Intel, with 2 gig memory.....
A free Ipod Touch, and Teacher Student Creative Suite.
All for under $1500 Take that PC!
The creative suite without the package alone would be around $1800!
Going to use the creative suite in 3 macs!
And watch out DPS will soon have a new look....
The new mac can use Mac OS & Windows, hmmmm no virus protection needed, faster, powerful, great software, user friendly.
Like driving a mercedes vs. a yugo!

My wife has a Mac and I'll take a PC any day. Windows 7 is as good or better than Snow Leopard, has more software available and with a decent browser like Firefox I don't worry about virus problems. I've been doing PC since Dos - no hard drive just two 5 1/4" floppies. I'm PC to the core.

One nice thing about my MAC,
It reads all and any camera that can be attached to it.
No dropping in a cd every time there are hardware issues.

I was discussing the new version of Windows last night with some friends when someone pulled out this little gem, "If you want the newest version of windows... Buy a Mac 7 years ago, cuz thats how far behind it is."

Mac FTW!!! I used to be hardcore PC forever, then a few years ago...on a whim, i bought a $3500 MacBook Pro. It was when they were just moving over all their hardware to Intel. Been hooked since and I'm an IT guy who works with Windows most of the day.

If you run a good Linux build (like Ubuntu) on a PC you don't have to worry about virus problems. There are tons of great open source programs and you easily avoid the all the problems inherent in Windows and the unreasonable price of Apple. It's the best of both worlds. I can custom build a machine (PC) with very high quality parts that runs every bit as well as a Mac for half the price and with Linux everything "just works".
