Thanks guys. I watched the video last week but didn't have time to start until yesterday. I think I will watch it again. I know this will help tho.

I putt early in the morning, sometimes at lunch, or right after work when I get home. Remember that it is focused putting and not just standing there going through the motions. You'll get more for your time if you're in that mindset.

I'll make at least 100 putts before I play a round....that is 100 made and not attempted. I think warming up putting for this long before you touch a mid and driver will save you more strokes than not doing it all or throwing a disc around to warm up. The short game is where AMs and newbies lose the most strokes.

Also, I don’t count playing rounds as practice for putting. You might putt 18-40 times during a round stretched over an hour to two or three hours depending on the course and traffic. That is what I was getting at when I said “focused” practice on just putting…find your Zen, center, zone, or whatever you call it. Once you do this consistently you’ll see your game change…that is a promise and it is only a matter of time. The difference in that time is how much real focused practice you put in on the basket/target.

@JP, nope, like the video says, you should do it before the round for at least 15 minutes. Maybe one before then one after?
The video also states to not worry about how you putt during these rounds as one bad round of putting could throw you off. Thats why he said after 15 minutes if you're tired just do 'crazy shots' or trouble shots, etc so you can relax after putting.
Practice, practice, practice, we all can be better putters.
It's hard in the beginning, I know but after a few weeks you will see an improvement Bro'.
Just my 2 cents, sorry if I'm out of line here, don't want to turn you off this.

What about days you play? After a couple of rounds I'm a little to tired to putt. Does that count as practice.

I did my first day of putting today, 07/22/10. I didn't have matching putters so I used 3 old Rocs.

Um, wow. I hadn't played in two weeks and changed my putters like Steve "Suave" Valencia told me like 18 years ago and WOW! It was like I was a Pro with my old Aviars. I couldn't miss from 30 feet in, up, down, around branches, jeez.
Steve told me and my buddy that he would change putters from Puppies to Aviars just for a different feel every now and then and WOW. He was right.

Conclusion: This program worked, I'm not gonna say I missed a few putts but I did make some nice 'saves', more than I'm used to thats for sure. It is in fact hard to keep the concentration level up for 15 minutes at a time and that also really helps with the mental side. I think I only got to do this for 3 weeks so who knows if an extra week would have helped more...???
Course we all can be better at putting so I will do more putting in the coming weeks. I DNF'ed for the 1st time ever(knee) and am anxious to get back to a tournamnment!!!! Thanks Mark.
