After hours of work the course is as ready as it will be. There will be a few holes we will not be playing due to the height of the water/ ice. However, if it gets as cold as we are expecting tonight, we might get lucky and it all be frozen well enough to navigate safely. Here there are:

Hole 4 - Basically the whole hole.
Hole 5 - Might be played, the right side of the fairway is covered with water / ice.
Hole 9 - Whole thing is covered, water up to the bottom of the basket.
Hole 11 - Covered in water / ice.
Hole 12 - Same.
Hole 13 - Same.

So we will basically get 18 holes in.

Bundle up people, its gonna be cold tomorrow!!!

Heres Hole 23 At Ox Bow on Saturday!

And heres the group that braved the cold and wind to play today!

Temperature: 1 degree
Wind: 15-20 constant with 30+ gusts
Wind Chill: -18 degrees

And we thought we wernt going to play Hole 4. Saturday afternoon it was nothing but slush, you had to walk around it, and Sunday, we played it! Go figure.......it's Indiana in February!

Does the basket look a little short? If you look closely, AND KNOW THE HOLE, you can see theres about a foot of water/ ice on that hole!

Hole 9

Needless to say, we didnt play it!!

Saturday it was water, the ice here was about 1-2 inches when we got there. I broke through it twice on the way to hole 10, the old first alternate, or A.

Well, I didnt have a partner, so I decided to leave after the first round, but just before stepping into the car.....
