2009 Michiana Area Disc Golf

Well as most of you may have figured out, the club really is no more. I understand it is a matter of time before the accounts are closed at least so I am told.

Anyway....Best Shots Live ON!!!!!

Monday - Rum Village (6pm)
Tuesday - George Wilson (6pm)
Wednesday - Ferettie Baugo (6pm)

So far as I know the Ace Funds for Rum and Wilson are quite sizable!!! There will not be an ace fund at Baugo due to costs required to get in the park. If you havent gotten a season pass for the park you should, if you play 10 times this year you will have paid for it anyway.

I have not heard of anything going on at Ox Bow. With the crappy weather we have had lately I doubt its very dry anyway. All the baskets are there....basket 7 was moved back about 20 feet adding a touch more difficulty to the hole.

Thats about it....next tournament in the general area is the Circus City, part of the IN Summer Series in about 2 weeks.

Thats the only scott I see at our best shot. Anyways, as far as I KNOW we don't hold a best shot at baugo, and if we do...no one has said anything. The ace pots for Rum Village is at $170 and Wilson has two ace pots going the first one capped out at $200 and the second I think is only around $20. We normally get around 15-25 people at rum village on mondays at 6pm and 25-35 people at Wilson park on tuesdays. I hope to see the local people there and get the word out!!! The more people the more money to win! :D

The current website is dormate since the "leaders" are no longer involved all that much. As far as the best shot schedule, It is Mondays at Rum Village 6:00pm and Tuesdays at Wilson 6:00pm please come out. This week we had over 10 teams for our tuesday best shot the most i have see this year!!!! They do not pay out in plastic anymore it is straight up money and since there is no club money coming out anymore (that im aware of) its basicaly $5. The 1$ ace fund IS included with the $5. Please show up at least 10 minutes early to these events so we can get started right at 6pm If you have any questions feel free to ask :-)

I understand the Wilson best shot is already running, run by the club or not, I heard there were 16 players out there within the last few weeks.

Also I saw a posting for best shot at rum it said it is five dollars now? Is plastic still being given out or cash like it used to be until last year. Thats all need to know. Keep the discs flying.
