Byron Big D Dubs is Tomorrow:

PDGA CX tier.

Ratings based divisions based on the combined rating of the teammates:

Gold -- No Limit -- $43 per player
Silver -- Under 1900 -- $43 per player
Bronze -- Under 1820 -- $43 per player
Pewter -- Under 1740 -- $43 per player

Your $43 entry fee includes: CARTS, greens fees, player packs, trophies, some edible CTPs cooked by Diana and Kira, and PDGA points. The clubhouse will be selling lunch, beer and other beverages.

Registration will be from 7:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. If there is no frost delay, we'll shoot for an 8:45 am players meeting and a 9:10 a.m. tee off.

15 Brass player pack per player
25 Brass per player to payout
$15 per player green fees and cart fees are covered by the tournament.

Because we are sanctioning this, pros over 970 cannot play in an amateur division. Pros under 970 can.

If you want to take advantage of the cashless pre-reg e-mail me your team or post your team here. The last two years we've had over 100 players for this tournament.

Pre-registration for Byron Big D has been anemic. I'm trying to use every means possible to let disc golfers know that if I don't get some serious pre-reg by this Friday, three days from now, we're going to have to cancel this. We cannot close the golf course to golfers if we don't know we have a decent number of players.

You can pre-reg by going to the www.pdga.com discussion board in the Ann Arbor Area section in the Byron Big D thread and posting your name, your partner's name, and both your ratings. If you are read-only at pdga.com, send me an e-mail: rollerdoos at aol dot com.

It's $50 a player. That includes lunch and carts and player packs and the works.

I posted a couple of videos today that might be interesting to folks in MI.

There's a bit from the GLO '07 Open final round, Toboggan course.

There's another on day two action from the '07 USDGC round 2. Pete Wyngaard makes an appearance. Other notables as well.

Enjoy the spring, everyone.

I'm starting a discgolfersr.us club for players who want to be clued in to what's going on at Willow Brook in Byron. I want to plan monthly club outings, not tournaments, that involve competitive play, organized sidebets, and donated trophy discs dyed by yours truly.

Plug in. http://discgolfer.ning.com/group/willowbrook
