2008 MDGO Preliminary Tournament Schedule
Happy New Year! As we start off the new year we can wonder what disc golf possibilities lie ahead for us all. How many Aces will we get and where, will we place in a sanctioned event, or how many events can we participate in and which ones will they be, etc...? Rest assured the state will be full of great events and your local Tournament Directors and league representatives have been busy planning the statewide schedule. We did all of this in hopes of providing the best disc golf opportunities so each of us has the chance to answer the questions asked above and more. Like the fresh snow outside with no footprints the 2008 year is new so start making your disc golf plans soon.
The MDGO E-Newsletter for this month will also include tournament information for February in the left cloumn. I will try to add two months worth of events in the left cloumn if this helps TD's and players plan accordingly. The 2008 schedule is still preliminary but it will be approved and ready to publish soon. Until then you can take advantage of many Ice Bowls going on in your local areas.
Have a great 2008 Disc Golf Season!

. Just before Christmas, I opened up Disc Golfers R Us, on the Web, with " Face book/MySpace" social networking functionality. So far disc golfers from 25 countries, and from every US state and Canadian province had visited. They're sharing thousands of pictures, hundreds of videos, collecting networks of friends, and using the live chat to save cell phone minutes. Come over to the disc golf clubhouse.
