If you guys on the list could cast your votes for disc golf and tell everybody you can we could make this a possibility to see another course of high quality in Ann Arbor we all could benefit from this.  In the very least we could see an peaked interest by ann arbor in more disc golf courses in MI and ann arbor.

Please forward this to all your people and see if we can get them to help please!!!!

Hello everyone
Terry Calhoun discovered this and i am resending to stress the possibility of what we could do with enough votes!!!
The possibility is interesting to say the least.  In the very least it might get ann arbor to consider more disc golf courses if we can get the votes up there!
I hope we can get this out there and spread the work ASAP!!
Post this link everywhere you can!!
We could with enough votes see a disc golf 1
The vote, scroll down the page to the bottom.
Thanks everyone
William Gilbert

Got a question, if I win a state berth, do I get to register for whatever division I want to play in for the State Finals? Or do I have to register for the division I win my berth in? I know it sounds strange but it is actually for my girlfriend, who will be playing in a higher division than normal at the Farm Classic. Thanks.

Anytime between now and when Ward retires and closes the Blizzard Hills Bar on April 30th, any disc golfer that stops in for a drink and says " Ward, we love the disc golf course" will get a free Glow Mini compliments of Ward Prindle, Saganing Eagle's Casino and the Pinconning DIsc Golf Club (1 mini per disc golfer please).

And mark the dates - April 26 will be the kickoff evening for Blizzard Hills / Pinconning Disc Golf Club's 2010 doubles season. We will tee off at 5:30 (starting time changed to 6:00 on May 17th), drawing for partners shortly before that, so be on time. The Monday night doubles is now participating in the "Michigan Cooperative Points Series - Summer", so make certain to sign on to Disc Golf Scene and supply me with an email address so I can enter you as a regular player. You can find more info on the Cooperative Challenge at Disc Golf Scene.

And with a tear in my eye I remind all that the Blizzard Hills Bar is closing at the end of this month so Monday the 26th will be our last league evening to have the 19th hole. It'll be a nice evening to bid Ward a Happy Retirement and thank him for allowing and continuing the disc golf course. And if you miss out on Monday's play, Wednesday April 28th will be a special night at the bar. Some good ole boy musicians that travel around making impromptu stops at local bars treating the patrons to live music are rumored (scheduled) to stop in to play, probably around 7:00 or 8:00, so BE THERE. To help bring some players in and send Ward off to retirement with a HUGE Disc Golf Farewell, I'm scheduling a Singles Round on Wednesday the 28th at 5:30 with the Michigan State Berth Packages as the main prizes. It will be $5.00 to play, $2.00 optional event ace pool (CTP if no aces) and we will need 5 paying players to have the Berth available with up to 3 Berths being handed out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd if we can get 15 players or more. The field will be capped at 32 players. There will be some additional CTP and Long Putt prizes as well. Please visit Disc Golf Scene Tournaments (Berths At The Blizzard) to reserve your spot by posting your intentions under the "TALK" tab. please feel free to contact me with any questions. god@godiscn.com

To any and all of you that would like a chance to play in the Michigan State Disc Golf Championships, show up Monday night at Blizzard Hills when The PDGC will have a putting competition for the final remaining Berth Package that not only allows you to play in the State Championships in Ludington on Labor Day weekend but also includes 1 Custom full color Discraft championship disc, 1 mini, 1 Discraft hat and 1 water bottle. The fee to play in this putting contest shouldn't exceed $3.00 a player, assuming we have enough players to compete. Be there for a shortened version of league (12 holes) , with the putting contest immediately following.

Played Lola today, shot +1 with a bogey on 18(9x2)...could of been a +3 day if not for 4 low putts inside 40 ft. Oh well, a good round though!

Although I don't live in Michigan, my family does, and I spend a month every summer there (here). I got to play half a dozen courses there (here) this past June, and am looking forward to my return trip next year!
