Landed in Pearl on the 6th of june and making it my home base for a bit. Need someone to throw with and show me around. I have friends and family here but no one looks at me the same when I ask them to play. Get in touch and lets play a round.

Im from FL but started playing disc golf in Hattiesburg, MS in '01 and '02. Then moved back to FL and didnt pick it back up until about a yr ago and have been on it every week since. I still had my disks from '01 which was cool though!!

Hello Mississippians,
I'll be seeing the south in about a month. I'll be bringing my bag and not much of anything else. Which means I'll be hella bored and will need someone to throw with from time to time. I'm be coming alone and don't know anyone there that plays.
Hit me up with some contact info and what coarses are in the area of central, south and west MS. I'll also be working in LA around LSU, NO, and Conventon.
anyone have friends in these areas let me know about them to please.

---------Amory Disc Golf Association's 2009 Bag Tag Challenge---------

When: Sunday, February 15, 2009
Time: 1:30 Tee off
Format: 18 holes, no handicaps for tags.
Requirements: Must have 2008 tag(or purchase one-I think there are 8 or 9 left), must purchase 2009 tag prior to playing.

Cost: $20 for existing members, includes 2009 tag
$30 for new members wishing to purchase a 2008 tag that day.
these will be limited to actual number of 2008 tags left.

Of that Cost, $5 per player will go into the payouts, no club fees or ace pot fees. Divisions will be: Open, Advanced, Ams, Jrs U-14(if we have more than 3), Am Women(if we have more than 3). Open will get cash, everyone else plastic/schwag (the Innova Groove's are in!) As usual there will be CTP's all over the course. We will also activate the ace pot for all 2008 members and it will be seeded to $200, so payout will be $100. No fee for ace pot. Every 2008 tag holder is in, except for day of event 2008 tag buyers.
