Run Ins

Has anyone had any problems/confrontations at the course?

I try to just go out and have fun, but there is one guy who I seem to get into it with every time we come across one another. He is one of those guys that mostly play solo and tries to run through everyone. Most of the time I tell people no problem go on ahead. But this guy is such an ass about it, especially when everyone is waiting and its not my group that is slowing people down. I've even seen him jump in front of 5 groups waiting on 1. He just thinks he's too good to wait with everyone else. AND he's a hipocrite!!! One weekend he was playing in a large group that happened to be holding up play, but refused to let a twosome play through.

Am I out of line here? Or are some people just such ass clowns that run ins are unavoidable?

I regular have confrontations w/ golfers or groups of golfers that jump my group during the busiest times of play at Morley...the amazing thing is, when I call them out for it, or tell them they can go next after my group, their response is typically that I'm being a rude asshole...lol...

Exactly. My guys favorite phrase is "course etiquette," but I'm pretty sure he has no idea what that even means.
