Morley Field

ah...our beloved Morley Field. She's the best but she seems to be going through a stressful time in her life, with the shoe tree gone, parking problems, too many "banders", etc... Show her some love. (remember, for many she was our first!)

Hello all, sorry for the mass posting but I really want to find my discs.  My bag with about 12-15 discs was taken from my car last night; yes, I was bright enough to leave it unlocked!  Here is a…Continue

How do you feel about other shoe tree? 2 Replies

I feel like we should avoid having shoes in trees all over the course, and may be just focus on one tree as a replacement. Hole 11 tee has a tree that's on it's way.

This weeks tough layout (thanks Mike B!), finally caught up to me.
Saturday (in heavy wind) +4
Sunday (in heavy wind) +6
Sunday (windy) +4

I saw one of the best executed shots ever today. Brandon Langston and I were teeing off on hole 6 at Morley. He threw a shot that I KNEW from release was right on line. If you have played it, you know there is only one real route- around the trees to the right then diving into the basket. There was no luck involved. It absolutely pounded the chains for and ace!

I had many good times at Morley in my 6 months in San Diego. It's too bad that too many douche bags are ruining it for the respectable group of disc golfers. It happened here in Bend. The college closed the course for a few months because of certain illegal activities. Fight the good fight!

Hey Morley-ites...don't forget there's an event across town this weekend.

Sun Valley Finale - Sat. Oct 4.

expecting to tee off by 8:20am so please come early enough to warm up and eat some of the 4 dozen donuts Danny plans to bring.

As always SV will have the nice all-you-can-eat $6 lunch under the trees.

If possible, we are hoping to work in a CTP Eliminator as the first official SVO 09 fund raiser. We have a stack of nice CTPs prizes and more for the 09 season. Bring a little extra bling for a shot at some of the additional goodies.

What is the date for the November Morley Monthly? I am going to be visiting San Diego for the T-day holiday, and I would like to play. Thanks!

This Sunday could be the next Upas challenge. I think. ( cause its easier to set up) we'll be doing the harder lay out. I think things could get interesting with a cash payout. Singles will be game with a five dollar buy in, which would pay out the top two spots. Contact myself or Big D with any questions. July 6th
