The Canadian Aboriginal Festival is scheduled for November 28th, 29th & 30th, 2008 at the Rogers Centre , Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

2008 marks the 15th Anniversary of the Canadian Aboriginal Festival. The Festival offers something for everyone from shopping, food, spectacular dancing, lacrosse, contemporary music, visual arts and many other items.

The organizers of the Canadian Aboriginal Festival would like to make it very clear that everyone is welcome, all races and creeds. By being a part of our Canadian showcases for Aboriginal people, you would in affect be honoring us with your presence.

I would like to keep my Disc Golf separate from my heritage issues but I guess when I saw the CLUB I couldn't keep silent knowing Thousands of families have hidden their history and really are on spiritual journey to discover themselves.
We have inherited the awesome responsibility to be the Stewards of the Earth.
Perhaps its through Disc Golf that we enjoy and commune between nature and mankind.

Went to my first Sweat about 3 months ago. Wow, it's was a little uncomfortable not knowing what I was and wasn't supposed to do, but everyone was patient with me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I keep trying to get back to do it again, I believe I will get more out of it the next time I get to go because I will be more relaxed about the whole thing. It was a cool enlightening experience. I loved the native songs, I didn't know a thing they sung, but it's always been so relaxing to me to hear native songs. I can't wait to learn more and do it again!! I wish my Mom could've shared this stuff with me, but she's in Heaven now, and I feel her presence when we are in the sweat...so cool!!!

Native american Sunday (United Methodist) is coming up April, 6. somehow I got suckered into singing a few hymns... Anybody else been hit up?
