I did the Arley survey too. If we got an 18 hole course in the area that would be sweet! It would sure alleviate some of the congestion/erosion at Dexter and Westy, so if you haven't taken the survey do it soon and let the Parks department know there is a demand out there!

I know about Andrew leaving us, there in a discussion in the Westy Club thanking him for all he's done, but I have regular contacts with him and I'll see what he's willing to help with. I know he loves this sport, and this area, so I think would like to see it grow. We'll see!

Since Andrew is no longer playing disc golf and moving out of the area it may be hard getting his co-operation to anything...

Here is the link about his departure on the EDGC page.

this was an interesting thing I found on the city parks site, apparently they are considering a legit course at Laurelwood. http://www.eugene-or.gov/portal/server.pt/gateway/PTARGS_0_2_247368_0_0_18/Laurelwood%20RFP.pdf

I took the survey for Arley and I think this would be a good location for a course, since I attend LCC I could play between classes. I think the ball is already rolling on Clearwater, thanks to Andrew and Rebecca. I also want to get with Andrew to see what we have to do to make this course happen. Maybe the U of O team could get involved and get Phil Knight to build a course there. Ha Ha Ha! Between the clubs I think there are a few baskets out there, like Laurelwood's 18, hopefully we can get them in the ground somewhere. Peace through Disc Golf.

Yea it was donated to the city this year and is currently(I think) under debate over the uses, and disc is high up on the board thanks to Rebecca Duffy. The city has a survey about the usage of the park... check it out if you haven't.

Arley is the one behind LCC right?

So there has been talk in the last year about several new courses, I wanted to state the names and see if there is any update on any progress(other then Cottage grove). So it all started with linx hollow, clearwater, and Dorris ranch. Then we have progressed to considering Arley, pisgah, and alton baker park.
