In 1989 I donated 18 benches to Morley. A local pro gave me a brand new double DTW stamp Phenix just like this one (same color only 2 stamps). I took out out of it's protective bag and promptly griplocked it into oncoming traffic. Right in front of the pro. Good thing we were buds.

Got a surge 150 for Christmas 09. I had only thrown it a couple of times when on New Years Day on hole 1 at Vista Del Camino(first shot of the day) I griplocked it into the lake. Then a week or so later I bought a surge esp off a guy selling the nameless ones he found raking the lake. On hole 12 I proceeded to return it to where he found it. Great week.

I bought a pair of Star Destroyers. I threw one and wasn't happy with my first drive. So I decided to throw a practice drive with the other and threw it off the cliff on hole four at Chico CA long course. It flew forever!

I only lost 1 disc at Worlds. I'd lost it in Kansas City several weeks before Worlds, but got it back right before competition started. This Beast once again became my go-to driver. Our 2nd round on our 2nd day of competition, we were playing what had to have been the easiest course in the Kansas City area. On the 2nd hole, I threw my Beast off the tee. I was running at the basket just over 200' away. My disc blew by and all we heard was splash:( Goodbye Beastie! I'll miss you.
