The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I really love this club, I just read a post on this site from a guy who won't call the owner of a found disc because he's not a "baby sitter". He stated he doesn't have the cell phone minutes. I had a guy drive 35 miles to return my disc and refuse a reward. It hasn't come up yet but I think I would do the same. What is the most you've done to return a disc?

My husband and I are from San Diego, but drive up to LA a lot to play the courses up there. If we find a disc, we do what we can to try and return it before we leave for home, but if not we try to locate a pro shop (if there is one). We have been successful in all our returns so far, but even if we weren't able to get someone their disc right away, we travel up there enough that we'd get it to them before long, or would totally meet in the middle if they wanted it back sooner. Just doing what I would expect others to do for us... Wish that we'd get some return love soon though, we've both lost 2 discs at an LA course with no calls :o( Uber lame.
One or two phone calls to contact the person, and/or leave a detailed message. Half the time it's a wrong number or disconnected anyway. Quite often people will tell me to keep it.
