I have a box full of discs I've found with names or unique marks on them. It's amazing the looks I get when I meet someone new and notice how they mark their discs and then I say to them, "I've got a disc of your in the truck, be sure and come with me after the round to pick it up." And when they get it they say, "Man this was one of my favorites I never thought I'd see it again."

There's a disc rat, swamp rat, tool, lowlife, waste of skin, whatever you want to call him that makes his living on selling OPP (other peoples plastic) here in the Dallas / Fort Worth TX area.

While i'm a true believer that once you walk off, leave, and abandon the disc, then you've given up your right to own it. What urks me is, this Waste of Skin will not offer it back for a $1, $2, or $5......you'll be paying HIS full price. Plus he constantly misleads buyers on Ebay by naming things 1st run, super rare, out of production, or one of a kind. Arrrrrrghhhh, it just ticks me off!

The disc golf community is too small to have HATE in it. Well, i have one person on my DG hate list....and if you know me, that's saying A LOT!

I started playing Disc Golf just recently (Jan17th as a matter of fact) I did my first find and return tonight when I went for a round just before sundown.... turns out the guy was still at the course and was practicing his drive back in the parking lot. So I finished my rounds and returned the disc just before leaving.

I try to return disc that i find. About a month ago, I lost my wraith. It was my favorite driver. I was at my local course about a two weeks ago, in the pro shop, sorting through the lost disc pile. Ended up finding 5 of my friends disc. Paid the $15 ( $3x5disc = $15) to get them back (They have a couple of lakes out there. They go diving for disc every couple of months and call you if they find yours. If not, then it goes into to the $5 used bin. Great deal.) dropped them off at there houses and went home. A week later i got a phone call from another friend saying he got my wraith from the pro shop. As for Karma, It was worth every penny. ( One of the guys I got the disc for just moved to Texas. he was so happy to get it back before he left, Nice going away present.)

I wish it were legal and not be bad karma to set a bait pile for those guys. Just like a deer. Sprinkle some newer plastic around a tree and wait off in the woods with a rifle. Just kidding! But, not really. LOL

Only had two discs ever returned to me. one was a kid at a park where I was practicing driving, so I drove over and gave him $5 and a disc. his family was there and it was a good lesson for him and his friends I think.
and last week I lost my favorite Wraith and a day later some guy called so again I drove out real quick and gave him a disc for it as well. ( didn't have $5 :( ). I called a guy on the only disc Ive found with a number and he never called me back, and for some reason the few discs I find never have names.??? whats up with that?! although I did recognize a name on a disc a friend found and saw the owner at a mini and asked him about it and he told me to tell my friend to keep it,haha.
