I have great luck with people returning my discs, around 85% of the time. I turn in all found discs to Disc Nation, they give a $2 discount to anyone who brings in a disc a returns it for free.

I've lost 4 discs to the water hazards on my home course (I've only been playing 4 months) and found 2. One had an illegible phone # on it, and I got no return call on the other (which was a sweet disc). Anyway, after my round this morning I had a message that one of our local dealers had one of my lost discs. I grabbed up the ones I had found and ran down there to retrieve mine. No cost, just drop a found disc off and they will attempt to contract its owner. That's good karma!

hey now,the mind is a terrible thing to waste and lose.Somehow I walked away from a Status disc and bemoaned that it was gone.Amazingly a few weeks pass and a fellow disc golfer meets me in the parking lot at the course."Hey Ed,found your disc and it plays sweet, here's your disc back",karma does follow one and all. Thanks Rob.Hit chain,Peace

Extortion.
they know you want it, so you get charged.
Despite the fact that YOU do the right thing, this will continue on as long as there is a 'demand' for it. And some don't mind paying.

wow... someone actually emailed me and didn't know what a "tool" is!

adj. to quote the great band - Weezer "Oakley makes the shades that transform a "tool""

I thought this would be a great idea for a club!
Actually we should have to join this club just to be on this DGRUS site (Terry?)

Karma baby KARMA! It works, believe me! The disc golf gods don't like shady people any more than I do....I always call the numer on the disc-thats y its there :) I've even brought them cross country to return them to their righful owner, if the owner can be found! Now if thats not good KARMA, I dunno what is?!?!

Hi gang, great group! I remember once I called the number on a disc I pulled out of the creek and found the guy at the end of the tourney. Turns out it was his daughter's favorite disc and she was thoroughly distraught. The look on that little girls face when she saw me walking up with it was priceless. Good Karma! :)
