As a local course pro a lot of discs get turned into me and I try and find the owner...I also sell discs at the course so people know to check with me. Unfortunately my van got broken into a couple of months ago and the thieves stole the box with used plastic.

A couple of years ago someone returned a 9 time ROC that had my name and number on it but oddly enough I don't remember owning the disc.... all I can figure is I bought it and lost it almost instantly and a few years later it found it's way back to me...z

good karma law says if you tried and they didnt get back to you then you are the owner of said disc.

Ive had a cpl of disc returned to me .. found my first lost disc ..but its unmarked... i posted it on the local forum, talked to club members, i found it on a league night, posted i found a yellow disc on the park board with my number. NOTHING 2 months now Ive had it ... and havent thrown it either ... i so want to though its a nice disc.

WHAT SHOULD I DO??? just hang on to it? put it in my bag and chuck it around? I dont need any bad Karma ya know.

I've found and tried to return around 40 discs over four years. Probably 20 successfully reunited with their owners. I've also left discs, approached the groups behind me to ask if they've found anything, listened to them deny it, and then busted them with the disc in their hand or bag (in a polite, non-confrontational way of course.) People amaze me, for better or worse.

Personally I feel for those people out there that lose disc's. I know for a fact that I've "Donated" my fair share of discs to SD disc golf courses. But if I ever find a Dave Roper Disc I'm sure to take a torch to it and burn out the center.

I have mailed lost discs to folks around the country with their phone numbers on them.

If I know you , I personally hand your disc back to you , or If I don't know who you are , I'll turn your disc into the pro shop where I'm at !!!!!
