The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I hope you all get the chance to read my post on HFDS. I think I addressed the situation pretty extensively. For those of you who have not read it, or have no idea what I'm talking about, go check it out.
People, our club is a newer club. Still in its first year of existence, we have accomplished so very much. We are respected by HFDS, and many others around the area. But that respect has been earned. It has been earned through our meetings, our minis, and our hours of work on the courses, along with some killer play by a talented pool of players. I am PROUD of this club.
Once in a great while, there are issues that are unpleasant to address, but must be addressed. Many of you do not come to the meetings, and we knew that would happen. Many of you don't volunteer your time at the courses, and we knew THAT would happen to. But it never ceases to amaze me that there is a never ending sea of comments from everyone. LOL! It is this way with ANY club.
The most active people in our club are the officers, and a couple of core individuals who do embody the ideals of the club. You know who you are, and the club thanks you. Part of the reason we separated our club from HFDS was to get away from the negative politics that surround club. We wanted to rise above the crap, and get down to bettering courses in North Houston and beyond. There is a TON of behind the scenes work that I do with club members that goes unrecognized. Mainly because I try to run the club like a business, and therefore, I move it at the speed of business. It's what I do. But this means that I represent the club in many ways, as do some of you. However, regardless of what ANY club member is doing, he/she MUST realize that they are ALWAYS NSCG MEMBERS! Therefore, the actions of one will reflect on the club as a whole.
Justin, I appreciate that you have publicly apologized both here and on HFDS. Let me state that while your incident has sparked this conversation, YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO SHOULD HEED THIS WARNING!
Do you litter on the course? Do you damage the course? Are you an ambassador to the club and the sport when it comes to others? I call on EVERYBODY to go to the club page after reading this, and read the section where it states what this club is about. If you cannot bring yourself to act or follow in the ideals of the club, then resign. Plain and simple. It is well known that my reason for starting this club with Seth was to help ALL DISC GOLF, as I want the sport in better condition for my son and others like him than what it currently is. I for one will NOT tolerate ignorance that derails this club. I would rather operate with a handful of dedicated individuals who can represent themselves responsibly than to be surround by a ship of fools. So please decide which category you fit in.

CLUB MEMBERS WILL BE JUDGED BY THEIR ACTIONS. Please remember this. Justin, thank you for your apology. Now let's get back to the business of bettering the sport we all love.
