North Side Chain Gang Mission

The North Side Chain Gang is a club of Houston area disc golfers who feel that the way to improving disc golf is to donate time and resources in the effort to earn more public acknowledgment of the sport and its wealth of talent on the North Side of Houston. Home to some of the state's most talented players, and some of the best courses in the state, the game is little more than a vastly popular underground sport to the community.
Through restoration and improvement projects using funds that are properly managed by the club and its officers, and raised through charitable events, minis, and leagues, the sport will grow within the area, and gain popularity and credibility through the good public relations built by donations on behalf of the club.
Equally, the club also believes that the future of the sport is its youth, and that there is a growing need to bring credible communtiy programs to recruit future stars of tommorow.
Meetings will be held on the first Thursday of every month, and wll have a location announced on this site. The first Saturday of every month will be a work day on one of our area courses that fall under our charter.
Membership Dues are $20 a year. All monies collected by the club are spent on projects that benefit disc golf in North Houston and beyond.
Club President: Matt Stillwagon "Mr. Blue"
Club Vice President: "Infamous" Seth Johnson
Club Treasurer and IT Support: Mark "Dutch" Olden
Join us today and let's leave our mark on the sport by securing its future right in our back yard!

First off, SHE made the cookies, so she supports the party. LMAO! I do believe we will indeed have that meeting. Also, I need to get an idea of a group that can go down to Bass with me next week sometime and move some benches for Neal. I want to also walk the junior's course with the group as well. Would you contact Derek, Robert, TJ, the boys, and let's see about doing this right off? Thanks man. This same request for help goes out to ALL of us! WHITE TOWEL!

The time of month has arrived already. No, not my time of the month, but the club meeting. We will be holding it at the "Infamous" Steh Johnson's house @ 7:30 P.M. but get there alittle earlier ( 7:00 P.M.) for a putting game for a disc or two or whatnot whatnot. See everyone there.

Dude, I'm down for that. If we were to do so, we should plan it as a weekend thing. Invasion of the North Siders! Love the idea Justin. I'm out of town on business for the weekend starting Thursday, so I am unsure of the status of the meeting. I know one needs to be had though. I think Seth and I will be talking tommorow regarding the agenda, and he will most likely be running it. MAJOR POINT OF THE MEETING MUST BE SETTING UP AND PREPPING FOR JUNIOR 9 AND STATES!

Is there going to be a meeting this Thursday? Also, an idea just to throw out there. Everyone that got a pay out got a pass to Twin Parks. I say we all make a day out of it an go. Anyone that wants to, let me know cause I'm going. When, I don't know yet, but I'm going to go for sure.
