My current problem is my allergies are killing me and I am not able to disc golf even with medication because the pollen is so bad here my eyes are swelling shut before I get to hole 9.

skin itches, sinuses crazy, hard to breathe, swollen eyes.

Currrently, my gripe is that I've lost 3 discs in 2 weeks! One i left when I was practicing my drives on a local course, one went in the water on another course and one went missing on another course! The one that went in the water I don't expect to get back. But the other two have my name and email on them, but I'm not holding my breath. The one I left had to be picked up, it's an open hole. The other landed on the other side of a tree line on another fairway. I think another group that was finishing that hole picked it up.
I have league this week on a tough course with a lot of woods...here's hoping I don't loose another.

My biggest complaint, gripe or problem is that I just don't get out enough and play!!! I'm playing in a tournament on the 23rd and I should be practicing every other day...or atleast 3 times a week! I haven't played a round since Wednesday of last week! I spent 30 minutes today putting and driving at a local park on the way to pick up my daughter, but I need more!!!
Maybe I can bribe my wife with something...any ideas?!

We had a tourny in Salina, KS last weekend. It's a temp. course and while the guys were setting it up, some punks pushed one of the baskets into a pond. The TD confronted them, and of course, they denied it.
A friend and I played doubles Friday night, and after the round, we went back a couple holes cuz I'd left a disc behind. There were some teenagers hangin around their cars parked right by where I was looking for my disc. They were complaining loudly, making it obvious that I was disrupting whatever they were trying to do. I really didn't think anything of it.
The TD decided after the earlier basket incident, that we should pull all the baskets to keep them inside overnight. As we're all helping pick the baskets up, we notice one is missing. Ironically, the one close to where I was looking for my disc. Frickin punks threw a basket off a cliff into the river. HOW RUDE!
Fortunately, we were able to rescue the basket.

In another sob story for last weekend, I had to drop out the 2nd round on Sat. cuz my shoulder was hurting (again). Good thing it wasn't PDGA, or I would've been upset. But this is always a fun tourney; I was able to continue the goodtimes by cheerleading for the other girls- had to carry the cooler in the left hand while I nursed my throwing arm with some ice-cold brewskies:)

Ahh, a brighter side to add to my story, the day after this at the course and kid that dives into the lake to find discs found one of mine that made it out there last year, than later another kid hooks me up with another disc I lost last year. The bad part, I dont throw Flicks or Reapers anymore.

This didnt so much piss me off but was more annoying than anything. So I get this phone call the other day from and blocked number. I answer it because sometimes my parents number comes up as 0. Its this kid saying he found my orange Force. After thinking about it, I realized this kid found my disc I lost over the winter at a course 2 hours away. So Im thinking "oh cool this kid is going to return my disc" I start to tell him Im going to be in town in a couple weeks and he interupts to say "I'll probably lose it by then because its a piece of shit" I hear him and his friends laugh and he hangs up the phone. It wasnt the fact I wasnt getting my disc back that bothered me, it was how this phone call reminded me that kids these days are becoming little assholes at a much faster rate than they used to. Im 27 so it wasnt long ago I was a stupid kid thinking I was funny but I had respect for other people that played my sport. Anyway, I will be there in a couple weeks and since my disc is such a piece of shit I guess I will have my chance to find it.

So I have to continue the chat about people sandbagging during tournaments, and kinda ask a question while vent a little. I have a buddy who just recently played in a tournament (I was not there), and he openly admitted that he was going to sandbag and play the rec league because he "needed to win some cash" he won the rec league the last time he played it, and when I played rec and won I immediately went up the next tournament, he however, played rec again and crushed them. Something needs to be done about this type of crap. What could it be???

i dont even think you can call it cali-style. he just straight up took two shots for every throw. drive, mid, putt...two shots...each time. ridiculousness. makes it all the sweeter to win it!!

So I don't know why semi-pro's sometimes feel the need to sandbag in a tournament so they can win a little extra money. And not only sandbag, but sandbag by playing cali-doubles. What?!?! Ridiculous! But all I have to say is 8 hole playoff bitch! umm, yeah we beat him, hahahaha, bastard.
