Night Flight Doubles
This year we plan to have less night events but more payout! We are hoping to hold one large event each month.

NEXT EVENT: FRI JAN 21st

Join OGDC as we continue the third season of Night Flight Doubles at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake. Format is random draw doubles with cash payout. Sign-up by 6:15 pm with tee-off at 6:30.

PARK ENTRY
The park typically closes at 5 pm during the fall and winter months. If you are not in the park by official closing time, ODGC will grant you entry for the standard $2 park entrance fee before 6:15pm. Please call James LeBaube at 704-609-1296 for access into the park. The club will send someone to the front gate.

FEE STRUCTURE:
$15 Entry ($14 for payout/CTP's $1 for operating supplies)
$2 Park entrance fee (if arriving after normal park hours, ODGC will collect)
$1 Ace Fund – optional
Glow sticks and players supplies available for purchase

First night of Night Flight random doubles went well with a decent turn-out. The team of Gregg H & Gabriel M took first with an impressive -12 under par. We will hold Night Flight on this Wednesday the 25 right before T-day and then Handicaps on Saturday as well.

Alright, the third times a charm for a three-way tie. After all was said and done December 9th's Night Flight ended in a three-way tie. The group of James/Beth ended up winning after a few play-off holes.

The second season is in the bag for Night Flight Doubles. See you all next November when we ramp up again. Next season look for a change in the system with a possible larger monthly event or a points race.

We are doing the first Night Flight event of the season after the FFT directors meeting at BFP on the 18th of Dec. All are welcome for night golf. $15 entry, most likely randoom draw doubles. sign-up by 7:15, tee off at 7:30 pm.
