Southeastern Amateur Championship - Aug 31 - Sept 2

Please visit www.SoutheasternAmateurChampionship.com to get all the current information on the largest disc golf event in the state. There is a boat load of information on the site explaining the new approaches we are taking to provide participants with a premier event. Remember to check for updates on the site as additional information will be posted as it becomes available. Please keep in mind that this is an A-Tier event and all players must be current on their PDGA membership.

Spotted a few 'slackerificusessss' @ Reed Canal yesterday.... find that they tend to hang out at disc golf courses on a regular basis.

They tend to be hanging out at these strange 'barbeque' looking devices placed around the park...

Comment by Mark Janssen on August 24, 2012 at 12:07pm: The time is here! The Dog Days Drive-Off is tomorrow. Join ODGC at Rock Springs Ridge disc golf course for a round on each course. Registration starts at 9 am with players meeting at 9:30. Entry fee is $20 for both cash or merch divisions. Adult beverages offered for purchase from the course only and please have a collar for your shirt. Mulligan's available to drive your score down and the grill and bar will be open for lunch.

Comment by Mark Janssen on August 8, 2012 at 9:52am: ODGC is holding the 4th Annual Dog Days Drive-Off on Saturday August 25th. This year we are at the Rock Springs Ridge Disc Golf Courses in Apopka. One round on each course with mulligans available in both cash or merchandise divisions. Adult beverages available through the course, dress appropriate, grill open for lunch, $20 entry, sign-up starts at 9:00 am, tee off at 9:45 am. Pre-registration appreciated.

First things first.
All Funds have been successfully transfered
over to me, the Treasurer.
Will post final tally of club funds tomorrow.
Second, Still going to have a meeting of all Members
on the 30th of July, Next Monday. So if you are a member,
better make your way to Debary for Doubles. If you are
not present to voice your concerns and vote, you will have
nothing to say. We'll be talking about the club's by-laws,
electing a new Board of Trustees member, and discussing
the current and future plans of Debary.
Third, after the meeting we will hold a special best
shot doubles' round. $10.00 to play Doubles and a $5.00
donation to partake in the "Poker Run" fund raiser for the
club. All proceeds will be used towards the installment of
the final nine placements. The Prize will be a Limited
Edition Harley Davidson Shadow Box. Come out to show your
support of the Club.
Forth, A small group fought against the thunderous weather
yesterday and moved a total of four baskets. One, Two,
Four, and Nine have been moved. Join us to check it out.
Afterwards, eight of us battled the weather by playing
Doubles. It continued to extreme night golf.
Unforunately, several players lost their discs.
The best score of the night was only a -6.
