Comment by The Miniac on July 12, 2011 at 3:43pm For those of you who play Airport Lakes, you may have noticed some rather tall weeds growing on in front of the pin area of #2 red. That area is not manicured (IE "mowed") by the City, as is hole #1. If we want to keep that area playable, we have to take the steps ourselves. Anyone interested in pulling those weeds up (the more effective way to keep them at bay) or cut them down, you are more than welcome to do so.
I will be leaving town for over a month starting Wed 07-13-11 and do not have the time to get out there.
Thanks in advance!
Have a good summer y'all!

Comment by The Miniac on June 25, 2011 at 2:01pm World Champion Disc Golf Design will be replacing Mount Dora's Rent-A-Course equipment with permanent eq on Monday & Tuesday, June 27-28. If anyone would like to swing by and lend a hand, your help would be appreciated.
Monday, we'll be putting in carpet tees with frames over clay. (Concrete tees will go in later, pending funding.)
Tuesday, well be swapping out the old targets with the new (if they arrive on time) and putting in the new signs. Chalk up another permanent course in Central Florida! More to come.

"If you leave garbage on the disc golf course,
be ready to have your ass kicked by those that care!"
