agreed, actually there has already been some talk of remedying the issue and we should have a volunteer gearing up to help. Until then, deveolp your Melbourne turbo or play to the deep basket.

For those of you who play Airport Lakes, you may have noticed some rather tall weeds growing on in front of the pin area of #2 red. That area is not manicured (IE "mowed") by the City, as is hole #1. If we want to keep that area playable, we have to take the steps ourselves. Anyone interested in pulling those weeds up (the more effective way to keep them at bay) or cut them down, you are more than welcome to do so.

I will be leaving town for over a month starting Wed 07-13-11 and do not have the time to get out there.

Thanks in advance!

Have a good summer y'all!

We plan on arriving around 9:00 to 9:30 to unload some stuff. Then a run to Lowes for some lumber. We should be there pretty much all day on Monday. Thanks in advance!

World Champion Disc Golf Design will be replacing Mount Dora's Rent-A-Course equipment with permanent eq on Monday & Tuesday, June 27-28. If anyone would like to swing by and lend a hand, your help would be appreciated.

Monday, we'll be putting in carpet tees with frames over clay.  (Concrete tees will go in later, pending funding.)

Tuesday, well be swapping out the old targets with the new (if they arrive on time) and putting in the new signs. Chalk up another permanent course in Central Florida! More to come.

A sign I'd like to see:

"If you leave garbage on the disc golf course,

be ready to have your ass kicked by those that care!"

At TL it has been mostly Bud Light in the blue cans. (At least it isn't primarily glass) Does anyone have connections with a 'bribe-able' OPD cop who can lift finger-prints and then get some practice roughing people up?  I bet that'd have an impact, even if it was only on their miscreant asses!
