FYI: Original Hole 18 has moved at BFP. Current temporary carpet tee pad is next to fire pit on typical walk after 17. Hole plays up and over stairs. Hole distance approx. 275 feet.

A monthly event to see who the "ACE KING" is!!
(get it? Big Slick is Ace-King)

Sat. 9/11/10
4:00pm Reed Canal Park
$10 Entry

18 holes of running aces!! (no metals, no ctps)
2 drives per hole, use your favorite discs
Most Aces Wins, WINNER TAKE ALL!!

No Aces?
Final Four Frenzy: Play the Final Four Holes Two Times(staggered start style)
An Ace Hit? other players must match # of throws to tie or better it to WIN!

Ex: Jimmy's group leads off on hole #15, Jimmy Aces hole #16 on his second shot, other players need to hit an ace on #15 or first throw on 16 to win. Second shot on 16 to tie.

Players Tied?

After 18 holes: Tied players do Final Four Frenzy

During Final Four Frenzy: Tied players, one round of Final Four Frenzy

If there is a tie after all is said and done, money will carry over til next month's BIG SLICK event

ACE KING gets all the money

Plus, all players must call him "The King" at least once every time they see him, until a new KING is crowned.

OK everyone the Dog Days Drive-Off is finally here this Saturday at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake for the fundraiser for the Orlando Open presented by The Mott Law Firm in late October. (Dang that sentence was a mouth full)
Two rounds with the second being a gorilla golf format combining both courses. Better bring your arms. Registration starts a 9 a.m. with meeting at 9:45. Mulligans available for purchase and there may even be a few surprise drop zones and such just for fun.
Entry fee is $20 with half of that going to payout - cash for pros and merch for ams. If you want to see the gorilla course layout and the registration form, visit www.OrlandoDiscGolfClub.com.

Be on the lookout for.... some discs that were heisted right out the Back of Doug and Shanna Smith's truck just after play resumed from the second weather delay during the final round of the Daytona Open.

Doug's name is in them...one belonged to Shanna, her name is in that one...a 10X Roc.

Easy now fellas.... don't stick them in the virtual ground yet.
These "sweet" baskets will go in the ground somewhere in the Central Florida area for all to enjoy.... (maybe just one in my backyard).
We should have several options, my first idea is to donate these baskets to entice a park to order the rest of them (matching baskets) + concrete for pads to get a full 18, so we get either a full course or a couple of new 9-holers with dual tee pads.
It's going to take work from alot of people to make it happen, but it will happen.
I'm open to all ideas, so let them fly....

I think we ALL have a plan, lets flip for it and we'll tell Bill when he gets back. To bad he works from home or we could highjack the delivery.

Norbert's already got a plan for those baskets...Bill just doesn't know it yet. LMAO!!
