boom boom here .............. super course, rock and arbutus trees .... had 2 aces last Bender 11 and 5 methinks ............. the Land of the Islands Gulfius rules

A guy that came to the Bender with me ace'd hole one on his first shot of the tournament. Right in front of 60 plus people. Can't remember his name though. I have seen two other aces on that hole as well.

Ahhh, what a wonderful place to be. My sole visit to play Pender Island was during the week between the WFDF World Ultimate Championships in Victoria & the Canadian National Championships in Vancouver back in 1997.

I was joined by a couple of my teammates & a several members of the Montreal womens team...we were the only ones that were motivated to get an early start & play a round after quire the post nationals party the night before.

What an amazing place...one of the girls aced her first ever disc golf shot! She tee'd off on hole one, sidearm snapping an Ultrastar & Banged metal. sweet.

I'd really like to travel that direction again...hope the opportunity presents itself again someday.

I liked the islands so much I retired here 5 years ago and my son Wade and I spend the whole week on Pender prior to the bender. they have a great league on wed night. Great course, wonderful people

All Disc golfers must play the Pender island Disc golf course at least once in there lifetime. Oh yeah, Johnny Mac did win the smooth move award for 2008 on Pender!!

retiring at Pender would be a nice laid back life people just don't understand how nice the Gulf Islands are and so many discgolf courses on every one of them

No Pender Benders 4 me, but Ben and I did play the course during a visit to Vancouver Island and surroundings back in, I think, 1998. I had only been playing a month or so before I traveled to my organization's conference in Vancouver. Ben flew out to meet me and we spent 2.5 weeks on the islands. What a beautiful place. I keep telling my wife that we should retire there, but since she has not been there, she doesn't get it . . . yet!
