Hello, there is an important city council meeting tonight at 402 Main St in Chico CA 6:30 pm to vote on the allocation of $52,000 in Prop 40 funds for disc golf in Chico. If you cannot attend please send an email to the city council in support of this resource:

Initial Pinconning DGC Monday Doubles kicked off with a great evening. Sorry that you weren't there. Maybe next week or the week after you'll come and play. Last weekend we did start clearing the way for holes 4,5 and 6 and we sure could use any and all volunteer help. call me if you feel like being a part of the activities at Blizzard Hills and how about showing up on each and every Monday for more doubles fun (until after the round ends and we all have to wade in the river to retrieve our water shots... 989-686-1375

Hey all,

I am starting the process of hosting a tourney the end of summer in the Comox Valley BC. I am sponsoring $500 of my own cash, to help boost the pay outs. Sponsors will be approached, and items collected for the next 4 months. Hopefully things will go in a positive direction, and the weekend will be fun and exciting. If anybody has any thoughts/hints/tips to help bring the game to the attention of non-players and players alike, please feel free to drop me a line. I am also looking for some players to come up from the US and help promote the sport as a worth while travel destination, specifically for disc golf. With the markets the way they are, we need some positive activities to bring people together, and prove that tons of money is not needed to enjoy a small "stay-cation" as the news likes to refers to it. I hope this finds everybody well. I look forward to hearing from all of you. Geoff
