Beanieman Rocks Worlds 2008

Our beloved Carl "Beanieman" Renda will soon return back home with very first world disc golf championship crown for San Diego in a 1 stroke victory in the 2008 Worlds Men's Am.Mini-Disc Golf Championships in Michigan this past week.

Sources close to "Beanieman" state that it was his extensive use of a “specialized” mini-disc overhand-tomahawk, as well as his training at Montiel DGC that helped him win his first (of many?) championships.

Carl is also posting some good scores in the “non-mini-disc” championship rounds. At last look he was +1 for the tourney while fellow San Diegan’ “Sidearm” Dave Roper is hovering around +4.

A celebration honoring Carl’s World Championship will take place at future time and date tba.

Written statements of apology from all 11 members of the “Keep Carl Renda Down” Club should appear soon on this site. :)

You know you're a joke when even McBrick, I mean McBeth is talking smack. I am out for Memorial, probably for the first half of the year. I'm going to have to spend 2 or 3 months after I get cleared to play strengthening my arm. I need to come back because it seems Noah plays a lot better when i'm not around to get in his head. Robert Morris, baby!

His chair will be perfectly placed for the McBeth/Rodriguez 1-2 finish. Don't be afraid to admit though Noah, Carl sure puts all his body into his game. and might well leave some of himself on the course.

It's true I saw the clubhouse reservation. He's having the Filet Mingon dinner to celebrate

Just bummed to hear that bro. Just got back from some great golf with David back in VA, was looking forward to getting back into some local golf with you.
Is it as bad? Did you try to do too much too soon? Hope to see you soon regardless.
Take care bro

Hopefully, he'll rehab fully before attempting his comback this time. I know he was cleared by his doctor to play but I'm pretty sure he was a tad overzealous to get out as soon as he could.
