The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

My personal disc golf hero is Scott Reek. He organizes the AADGC wednessday League night in Appleton WI and has also hosted several tournaments including the Wisconsin State Amateur Championships. He also has recently opened a disc golf store in Appleton "Under Par" Disc Golf and is off to a great start. What he has brought to the sport locally is worthy of recognition. Scott also recently played is last Amateur event the Fox Valley Open, taking first place and winning the most coveted black disc of the Wisconsin Tour. Scott Reek is now a Pro and my disc golf hero.

I have two people that have been a huge part of my 18 yrs of playing ,Chris Himing ran all the Texas Tens events, and really changed Disc Golf in Texas. And then my Twisted Buddie World Champ Joe Rotan for turning OK twisted. These two guys have done so much for the sport.
Awesome! I've had the good fortune of playing disc golf in Austin a few times when I go out to visit a buddy of mine living there and it's beautiful. That is where I played my first 900+ foot hole...
My personal Disc golf hero would have to be Toby Prince, because when i started he helped me and even though he was way better than me he made me push myself to do better and he'd never talk down to me and he's taught me so much.
