There are a ton of people who deserve recognition for there contributions to this sport....no question about that....It's a laundry list.

We should also take the time to thank those who really drive this sport....and that's 'All that participate'...those that travel near and far to play in events...those that show up week in and week out to play leagues...those that are just getting started.

The growth and success of this sport hinges on participation...Thank You to the Players!

Snapper Pierson has been the course Pro at Morley Field ever since I can remember and has done a lot to promote the sport running that venue. By doing so, he has achieved the most played disc golf course in the world, which in turn has led to thousands of rec players. That is what the sport needs to grow and for that reason, I recognize Snapper. Additionally, my hat's of to Del at Quarry Park for doing his part in England.

Geoff and Johnny Lissaman, I learned from them and took my inspiration from them. They were the first I played a round with back in 78. They created the great course in Penn Valley Ca. And they live on their 38 acre course in the High Sierra

Gabe Dotson for being side by side threw all the weather with me so I always got someone to shoot with. Ray for helping to make 24 Chains stronger then Gabe, and I could do alone. Stevo who is always calm and helps keep you focused and chill so you can shoot the round you know you can shoot. The Calhoun's for all their work on the MI courses. Bill Gilbert (and all the club leaders) for A3. OK this could go on for a while. And a big thanks to anyone who reads this cause you help make this sport that much better

I would also have to add Snapper Pierson, the course pro at Morley Field in San Diego. He is one of the fathers of competitive frisbee, has won numerous various world championships and has worked tirelessly for the sport for over 30 years! If you know him, let him know you appreciate all he has done for the sport. - http://morleyfield.com/snapper-pierson/
