Ok, so we have all lost a prized disc. Let's hear about the ones you have got back, and may still use to this day.

On my Bf and my birthday (june 14), we went to ludington/shelby area to play mason country parks, flip city, ect. So on Beast D i throw my Polaris, which i have had since i started throwing 4 years ago. Saw the line but after looking for almost 20 minutes we gave up. Crappy birthday present thats for sure. Anyway....3 months later my boyfriend wade goes up to ludington to play the michigan state championships....and sure enough guess who just happens to stumble upon my lost disc from 3 months before. Who would have though that would have ever happend??? I sure as heck didn't believe him at first!

i started playing a little over a year ago. and my first driver was a 175 Neon Green Star Destroyer. ordered it right as they released them. got my first 3 aces with it. then like an idiot threw it near water.... and well it skipped up and over the hill and in. and after 4 months of disc diving in the nasty reservoir i found it... along w/ 60 or so others. but finally got it back. water made it super flippy. but i still keep in the bag for trick shots and just for the fact i have in my mind it lucky. cuz once i got it back i hit 2 more aces. so no matter how crappy it gets it stays w/ me at all times. lol

My first real pro disc was a Signature Valykrie. I carried the disc for the better part of two years. I got my first ACE with the disc and had retired it, but I missed throwing her, so I added back to my bag after a couple months.
One afternoon last summer, I was just ACE racing, and I had a buddy standing behind the basket to catch any wayword discs. The basket was about twenty feet from the river bank, and I was worried that i might lose one. So I rip the disc, and it bounces on the ground in front of the basket and skips up..and for a second I think its going to hit the chains, but it goes through the blind spot on the basket and sails over the bank into the murky river. Fuck. Shouldn't have thrown it and I knew it.
My brother would suba dive the river for discs, and was making about 200 bucks a weekend selling the discs he found to a local disc store. Two months later he is soing his thing and he finds my disc. Its covered in black river slime, and took some loving to get her to look good again, but she was back. So I wrote the stroy on the back of the disc and retired it to my wall.

Lost a 10x Roc in a pond in Tuscawilla park for almost a year.
Got it back from a players kid for $3! Worth it.
Don't throw it anywhere near water now....

I have a roadrunner in my bag that I have lost and reunited with like once or twice a year for the past five years. Almost like a bad relationship. On a related note my beadless aviar has been returned to me three times after throwing it in the water on the same hole each time. Hole 15 Cliff Stephens park.
