Reunited Once Again

Ok, so we have all lost a prized disc. Let's hear about the ones you have got back, and may still use to this day.

hey now,I was reunited with my orange stratus after two weeks.Thought for sure it had become "finders keepers" even with info to return.Low and behold a fellow DG'er saw me on the course and returned the disc.He enjoyed the time with the "vactioning disc".I now double check the bag before moving onward.

Didn't lose but traded in a proline monster to our local disc shop years ago, found the disc sitting next to a tree out of town a few years later, used the disc to hit a $300 ace during club league play, had to retire the disc!!!

Lost a FLX Challenger in a river next to my home course. At the time the water was deep for the year and moving fairly quick so I just left it, and figured it was gone. Over a month later the Guy who built the course was walking his dog down by the river and took him up to the water fountain to get a drink. He found my disc sitting on the sidewalk under the fountain covered in a hard shell of alge and river nasty. He cleaned it off just enough to see our club logo and my name on the disc. I could not believe I got that disc back.

I love getting back any disc I lose. They're in my bag to play for a reason so when I lose one and get it back I'm happy.

Hole 17 at Mackenzie takes about six of my discs a year and once in a while the mighty sea pukes one up onto the rocks. Most are beyond throwing though.

I pulled one of mine out but it wasn't a prized one. Glad to have it back but it stinks very bad.

One I didn't lose but found in a lake with no contact info was a champ valk. I went on to get my first ACE with that disc. It was like pulling excaliber from the lady of the lady.

In 2002 during Pro Worlds in Houston, TX i lost my favorite Predator. More than a year later (in 2003) at a tournament in Lubbock, TX one of the locals said "Hey, i think this is yours" and handed it back. The disc looked like it had been through World War III. It traveled 580 miles by road, or 470 miles as a crow flies.
