Hi A3Disc,

Sounds like a lot of fun I wish I were close enough to come up and play. Yes Ript being so different sometimes scares away a few first time players, but as word gets out how much fun everyone had, follow up Ript events will be more and more popular.

Only thing I would recommend is to keep the “each player can only play 1 card per hole, and can only have 1 card played on them per hole rule” since it is your first event. It will keep play moving along. The round will be a little longer than normal so have everyone be aware of that up front. We all love disc golf, so isn’t a round that takes a little longer a good thing?

Have fun and let me know how it goes!

A3Disc in Ann Arbor, MI. are planning a Ript Revenge Tournament on April 25th 2009 at Hudson Mills Metropark near Ann Arbor, MI. Thought we would try something different and see how it goes.
The Player Pack will be a Ript Revenge Deck to the first X number of players which we haven't decided how many there will be given out yet. We can fit 192 players at Hudson Mills, 2 full 24 hole courses in park, but if realistically only expect 40.
Probably be playing for cash we haven't decided this yet either. Probably offer some vague divisions like PRO's, AM1's, AM Masters and then everybody else as a divisions.
But comments, suggestions or insight from you guys who play Ript regularly would be great.
The entry fees will be low due to the economy and because a lot of people may not know how Ript will work in a tournament.

www.a3disc.org The 2009 schedule is not on the website yet as we are still haggling over it with all the clubs in MI. But should be finalized soon.

You would drive all the way from WI just to play a casual round of Ript Revenge?? You guys rock! If you came all that way I would almost feel bad making you carry my bag on a hole. Almost.

Anyone want to play Ript Revenge in the High Point NC area?

I agree with Alterna tour you should be allowed to play more than one card. I am going to adopt that from now on. more damage = more fun

got to play a bit today, and we improvised and had a blast!! but a question:

3/ Each player can only play one card per hole, and each player can only have one card played on him/her per hole<-- who gets to play the cards on players in what order?
