Tom Hamilton driving on hole #7, CMC Glenwood Springs, CO. In the distance, Mount Sopris sits just south of the town of Carbondale, Colorado where the Crystal River meets the Roaring Fork River. Although Mount Sopris is not one of the classic 14'ers of Colorado, it is regarded as one of the most impressive mountains in the state with a twin summit of 12,953 feet. It towers above the town of Carbondale and the Roaring Fork River Valley in a very dramatic fashion, rising over 6,000 feet in a few miles.

Hard to believe it's the nearing the end of November and we still have weekends like this one. Snow must be on its way.

Comment by Jack on March 29, 2008 at 10:17pm: Wow, the course is playing great. Got two rounds in late today. Thought there would be a lot of snow, but it is mostly gone. Ground is pretty dry and the pads are about 95% cleared. I am excited to get a lot of play in up there, unfortunetly (or fortunetly) I am headed to AZ/So-Cal for a week. I plan on being up there a bunch when I get back.

We want to start doubles soon. I was hoping for some feedback on how to do it. I would like to have a doubles and singles league. IMO we should have singles during the week and doubles on the weekend. Any feedback would be great!

Comment by John McMullen on March 24, 2008 at 1:45pm: I've created a file for disc golf scores at discgolfstats.com. You need to create an account (FREE) and then enter your scores. Great way to keep track of your progress on the course, and to develop a "difficulty" rating for the course.
