I have been Practicing with my R-Pro DART to use it more as an approach disc than a Putter, and OH JOY does it work well for that. The Dart is the disc I greab Most when doing accuracy practice out to about 75-80'. I DIG my Dart...

Anyone contemplating the new Ion? A buddy has one. He says it's great for long shots--he throws it over 250'-plus, but has had it sail more so than his other putters, so he misses with it when going for the chains. But if he used it exclusively for a round or two, he'd probably get used to it. Me? I'm toying the the idea of getting one, but I'm completely satisfied with my Dart.

I bought a Dart when they first came out, which was about a year ago, I believe. It's been my putter of choice ever since the first day. I bought it because of the claim that it flies like an Aviar except farther and straighter. I'm not sure about farther, but it does fade less on long shots.

Hey DaveD, looks like we'll have to make a Star Dart club now.

I have switched from R-Pro to the new Star Dart for the durability. It is a tiny bit more stable, but still has the great grip and a lot more durability.

I took the XD out of my bag and replaced it with the Dart. Both amazingly straight discs, and like the XD, I wish the Dart would come in a more durable plastic... or I wish I'd hit less trees, but I've been wishing for a long time for that.
