I guess some people were posting on here and didn't know about the official SDGA discussion forums: http://www.nwdiscgolfnews.com/forum/index.php

Specifically the Eastern WA section at the bottom.

Its got a cleaner look and its easier to keep track of multiple threads and discussions. Not quite as good as http://www.northidahodiscgolf.com/ but its a free place to post Spokane related stuff.

The 2009 Downriver Open, coming up soon (April 25th and 26th), now has online registration at pdga.com. Nancy Morgan has donated a ton of stuff for the players' packs. They're gonna be awesome! We'll have lots of prizes and a basket to raffle off. This should be a great opener for the INW Series.
Also, the fullcolor Series fundraiser discs will be in shortly. Be the first one on your block to hang/throw one.

With the approval of the Inland Series coordinators, I have decided to change the format of the High Bridge Open. I plan on running a two day (Sat. Aug.22 -Sun. Aug 23) instead of just one day. It will consist of a 27 hole modified layout. 1 round Sat. and 1 round Sun. with a final 9 for the top five pros.

The event will not be PDGA sanctioned. I would like to make it an all cash pay-out for all divisions. Ams will still receive player packs.

In attempt to get more players to come from out of town, the first round would begin later in the day, around 12:00 PM (Registration ends at 11:00 AM,) so that those traveling can come straight to the tournament and sign up the day of. Please pre-register if you are a local player and plan on attending. The round on Sun. will begin earlier to allow time for the final 9 and awards ceremony.

Depending on the amount of funds raised through sponsors, or other fundraisers, I would like to provided some sort of dinner after the round on Sat.

Thanks, Stimpi! So surely we've reached a point in our dealings with each other that makes a site like this an acceptable forum for discussion and decision making. I mean, I'm glad there are regular meetings of 3 dimensional humans, but with so many schedules to account for, shouldn't this also count as legitimate discussion? As a Downriver original, I obviously love the course, but agree that any crossovers can and should be eliminated. That has always been an issue at Downriver. Just keep the course fun and challenging, and let me know how to help! -Tripp

Glad to be a member, thanks for the invite. As for the concerns about Downriver, people should come to the meetings so we can discuss the problems and come up with a solution. If you're a member you have a voice and a vote on what should or should'nt be done, after all it's for everyones benefit so bring you're ideas and opinions.

Downriver is an excellent Disc Golf Course. However the crossovers on #6 and #10 , culd be redesigned in order to alleviate crossovers. We have all heard of the mom, kid, or other people being hit by golf discs.
