I wanted a place to have for all the Ski resorts that have a Disc Golf course. A few things that I would like to accomplish with this group.

1. Find out how many of these courses exist.
2. A support site for people making a proposals to a ski resort for a golf course
3. Success stories of implementing a Disc golf course on the mountain
4. What were the win themes for the resorts and the Disc Golf Community
5. At some point to get Disc golf Ski Patrol tour. Where the Patrollers that are on the mountains year round can have their own tour and tournaments etc..
Anything else?

I'm putting together a pamphlet to sell ski resorts on the idea of disc golf.

I need a couple of pictures.  Does anyone have any they'd like to let me use?

The ski resort course at 2008 Worlds was out of control. Sweet watching the downhill throws.

the brand new 7 springs ski resort course is up and ready in champion, PA. For 8 bucks you ride the chairlift for the front and back 9. this is by far the funnest ski course i have ever played. others i have played are campgaw in new jerssey
hyland hills in minneapolis
i.u.p lodge in western pa.
the course most likely wont be added to the pdga directory until sometime in spring for 2009

Veil has a course that is open for part of the year, and you have to take the gondola up to play it. Other than that, I went to Worlds in Kalamazoo this year, and had to play the full 18 design on Timber Ridge. OY!

Don't forget Sugarbush in Vermont with 2 courses on the mountain. There's also one at Bolton Valley in VT, although I've heard it's not very good. There are lots in Colorado, also.

Taos is starting a course this year. It's around the base facility. No Kachina Peak drives, rats!

I would like to inform the group of a relatively new ski resort disc golf course (well actually its a yearly tourney). Its the Lemmon Drop in the Santa Catalina mountains outside of Tucson AZ. http://discgolfer.ning.com/forum/topic/show?id=1809917%3ATopic%3A198458
