The star spider is more stable but I only really use it for about 200 ft or shorter and I only use drivers for forehand. Give them a try though

what about the star spider for a mid range?is it more stable,i want to try it for like 300 foot sidearm drives

Yes Lord I luv my Spiders. I carry a Champ for short hyzer upshots and putts and a Star for windy day upshots. I've carried one since '03 and gotten much grief over it. So I always give them the spider claw when I make a good shot with em. Take that Rhyno!!
