The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Who are these people leaving their trash everywhere? We've seen a lot of trash near the tee's, especially those that have a picnic table. Last saturday afternoon there was trash all around the garbage cans. Can't people place the garbage inside the can? Hole # 20 had more than a dozen sport drink bottles on the ground right next to the trash can. All the returnables were taken though! The next hole had the trash can flipped over with everything scattered about the grass. I wonder how many people walked over it before we picked it up.

If anyone observes people trashing our parks, feel free to take aim at their heads with the hardest throw that you got. Maybe it'll knock some sense into they're senseless behavior.

Nothing better than taking your kid to the course to teach him how to play. Too bad some jerk(s) smashed beer bottles everywhere. We cleaned up the one that was on the teepad but we shouldn't have to be picking up others trash.

If you see anyone f-ing around and trashing the park, report those punks. I'm sure they'll think twice about trashing things if they had to pay a hefty fine.

It really is a crying shame. Often times all the trash around the cans is left there by bottle pickers that dump the can to get returnables out of it. If you see them call them out on it. I agree that it sux when you bring your kid out and they have to see the state of the course. The graffiti at stony and riverbends is out of control. The anatomy drawings and Maryjane stuff is an absolute disgrace. If people in your group stop to tag something, slap them upside the head. This is a problem for the sport but is a huge problem in Michigan. Out of all the courses I've played in 5 states it's by far the worst. It hurts because riverbends has been my home course since '92. Together we can fix this!
